SOCCER FEST 2011: STARS SHINE ON!! (SCHEDULE)

It's been a terrific season. Thank you Stars for your dedication and time. Thank you PARENTS for supporting your INCREDIBLE DAUGHTERS develop their skills, teamwork, and confidence - which athletics help create in a young lady. This might be my last year coaching soccer being that the skills needed for U10 go beyond my "pay-grade". Ha-ha. I have really enjoyed working with these fantastic young women who have made me very proud. Thank you - thank you!!

Remember your water for Soccer Fest 2011. Call me with Questions/ Concerns. Please keep in touch this summer - letting me know how you are doing and have a SAFE & FUN SUMMER!! Thanks Again.

2011 SVSA SPRING SOCCER SEASON WINDING DOWN!

It's been a great season! Thanks to the dedicated parents and to the STARS PLAYERS for your hard work. We seemed to miss a lot of practice due to the weather. We will practice ONE MORE TIME on Tuesday MAY 31st before SOCCER-FEST 2011. The details of soccer-fest will be posted on the STARS-WEBSITE as soon as I get the information.

I am proud to have coached this great team and want to extend a special "THANK YOU" to Coach Mike. We could not have had this great season without his back-up and support. Coach Mike was my assistant a season ot two ago and now he is a head coach for a couple other teams for Ella and his son Greg!

STARS ROCK OUT on SOGGY FIELD!!

Our Lady STARS did a great job on Saturday!! The field was just as much a competing factor as the Lady BLASTERS!!

Super-Soggy-Muddy conditions proved challenging but our SUPER STARS over-came the challenge. We had several great runs to goal and even though passing was difficult because of the high-wet-grass we prevailed and SCORED, SCORED, SCORED!!

Thank you to all of our players and for being good sports during a difficult game. We had several shin-kicks that took out a couple players temporarily but COACH MIKE & COACH TODD is proud of our players for seeing through the pain and playing on in the game!! GREAT SPORTSMAN-SHIP is an important rule!! Thank you to the parents for your support and a SPECIAL thanks to Ella's Mom for the delicious DUNKIN-DONUTS!! YUM-YUM!!

Who knows what the weather holds for TUESDAY NIGHT PRACTICE??

Stars Shine Brightly on Rainy Soccer Day!

It was a great game and coach Mike & I were very proud of our SUPER-STARS!!

The team is quickly working together and we had some incredible passes that turned into GOALS-GOALS-GOALS!!!

Olivia & Ella seemed to be reading each-other's minds which turned into several quick Star's Points.

Erica & Sydney both did exceptional jobs on defense to slow down the FORCE advance on the field and turn the tide of the game in the second half.

Jamie & Julia were both energetic and listened well to coach Mike and I instructions - we expect some great things from the Wonder-Twins-Shooting Stars!!

We have practice tonight at 7PM. Be sure to check back for any cancellation - last minute messages. I will be watching the main web-site all day today to be sure the fields remain open.
